The beautiful coastline of North East Cornwall is close at hand. Visit the beaches of Bude for surfing, cafes and restaurants. Or the unspoilt Sandymouth beach and the remote sandy cove of Duckpool.
Climb a tor, cool off with a bit of wild swimming, try pony-trekking, cycle the granite way or have a gentle stroll and lunch in a country pub.
Visit one of the many National Trust properties close-by. Our favourite is Lydford Gorge with its breathtaking Whitelady Waterfall and the exciting turbulent pothole of the Devil’s Cauldron – not for the faint-hearted!
Indulge yourself with a cream tea at the famous Hotel Endsleigh, a gastro-pub lunch at the Dartmoor Inn, a special evening meal at Lewtrenchard Manor or a proper pub dinner and a pint at the Clovelly Inn.
